Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Amir and Hazrat Ibn Sirin considered it undesirable to engage in conversation until the call to prayer (adhan) was completed.

Muhammad considered it disliked to talk during the call to prayer (adhan).

Hazrat Sha'bi considered it undesirable to talk during the Adhan.

Ibrahim considered it disliked for a person to engage in conversation before the muezzin had finished the call to prayer.
