Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I have seen the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) facing the Qiblah while relieving himself.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed that people had deemed it impermissible to face the Qibla while relieving themselves, he ordered that the direction of his toilet be turned towards the Qibla.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that once it was mentioned before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that some people consider it impermissible to face the Qiblah while relieving oneself. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Turn the direction of my toilet towards the Qiblah."
