الرجل يغسل يده بالسويق والدقيق
Ruling on Cleaning Hands with Flour or Sattu
Hadith 1579
١٥٧٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة عن مسعر عن حماد عن إبراهيم: أنه كان لا يرى بأسًا أن يغسل الرجل يده بشيء من الدقيق، والسويق.
According to Ibrahim, there is no harm if a person cleans his hands with flour or roasted barley powder.
Hadith 1580
١٥٨٠ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن زائدة (عن مغيرة) (١) عن أبي معشر قال: أكلت مع إبراهيم سمكا، فدعا لي بسويق، فغسلت يديَّ.
Hazrat Abu Ma'shar says that I ate fish with Ibrahim, then he ordered sattu for me and I cleaned my hands with it.
Hadith 1581
١٥٨١ - حدثنا معتمر بن سليمان عن حماد: أنه لم ير به بأسا وقال: يكره منه فساده.
Hazrat Hammad says that there is nothing wrong in it, but it is not good to spoil that thing.
Hadith 1582
١٥٨٢ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن حبيب عن عمرو بن هرم قال: سئل جابر ابن زيد عن الرجل يغسل يده بالدقيق، والخبز من الغمر؟ (١) (فقال) (٢): لا بأس بذلك.
Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid was asked whether a person can clean the grease on his hand with flour or bread. He replied that there is no harm in it.
