Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Nafi' and Hazrat Ja'far's father did not consider it objectionable if camel's urine got on clothes.

Someone asked Hazrat Ata what should be done if camel urine gets on clothes? He replied, "Even if it gets on you, there is no harm." Hazrat Mujahid used to say, "I will wash all of the urine."

Hazrat Hakam asked Ibrahim about the urine of a camel, so he replied that there is no harm in it, and he said: Is it not drunk, and is it not used for treatment!

Ibrahim says that the urine of an animal that chews the cud is pure.

Hazrat Ibn Sirin says that concession has been given regarding the urine of animals with cloven hooves.

Hazrat Sha’bah says that I asked Hazrat Hakam and Hazrat Hammad about the urine of a goat. Hazrat Hammad said that it should be washed, and Hazrat Hakam said that there is no need to wash it.

Hasan says that the urine of everything will be washed.

Hasan says that all urine should be washed except that there is concession in the urine of animals with cloven hooves.

Hazrat Nafi' and Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Qasim say that if the urine of animals gets on you, then wash it off.

Hazrat Sha'bi was asked about the urine of a goat, so he said that there is no need to wash it.

Hazrat Ata says that the urine of those animals whose meat is eaten is pure.

Hazrat Abu Majliz says that I asked Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that my camel urinated and its urine got on my clothes, what should I do? He replied, "Wash it." I said, "It is very little." He replied, "Wash it."

Hazrat Maymoon bin Mehran says that the ruling regarding the urine of a human and an animal is the same.
