Ruling on Touching Inscribed Dirhams without Wudu
Hadith 1222
١٢٢٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم: أنه كان يكره (أن يمس) (١) الدرهم الأبيض وهو على غير وضوء.
Ibrahim did not see any harm in touching white dirhams without ablution.
Hadith 1223
١٢٢٣ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن هشام عن القاسم: أنه كان لا يرى بأسًا بمس الدرهم الأبيض وهو على غير وضوء.
Hazrat Qasim did not consider it objectionable to touch a white dirham without ablution.
Hadith 1224
١٢٢٤ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن أبي الهيثم قال: سألت إبراهيم عن الرجل يمس الدراهم البيض على غير وضوء؟ فكره ذلك.
Hazrat Abu Al-Haitham says that I asked Ibrahim about touching white dirhams without ablution, so he disliked it.
Hadith 1225
١٢٢٥ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن هشام عن الحسن قال: لا بأس أن يمسها على غير وضوء.
Hasan says that there is no harm in touching them without ablution.
Hadith 1226
١٢٢٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن (ربيع) (١) قال: كرهه ابن سيرين.
Hazrat Ibn Sirin considered it undesirable to touch white dirhams without ablution.
