Those Who Say Bathing in a Pond is Not Sufficient
Hadith 1161
١١٦١ - حدثنا جرير عن المغيرة عن المسيب بن رافع عن ابن عباس قال: ⦗٢٣٢⦘ (الغسل) (١) من (ماء) (٢) الحمام (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) states that bathing with the water of a public bath is permissible.
Hadith 1162
١١٦٢ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن مجاهد عن عبد اللَّه بن عمرو: أنه كان يغتسل من الحمام (١).
Hazrat Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) used to perform ghusl with the water of the pond.
Hadith 1163
١١٦٣ - حدثنا ابن علية عن هشام الدستوائي عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن رجل من الأنصار عن أبي هريرة قال: ماءان لا يجزئان ماء البحر وماء الحمام (١).
Hazrat Abu Huraira states that two types of water are not sufficient for ghusl: one is sea water and the other is pond water.
Hadith 1164
١١٦٤ - حدثنا وكيع عن ربيعة بن كلثوم قال: سمعت الحسن يقول: إذا خرجت من الحمام، فاغتسل.
Hasan says: Perform ghusl after coming out of the bathhouse.
