Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Maymunah narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ghusl, then moved back from the place of bathing and washed both of his feet.

Hazrat Humran narrates that when Hazrat Usman performed ghusl for janabah, he would come out of the bathhouse and then wash the lower part of his feet. Muslim bin Yasar says that I do not mind going from the bathhouse to the place of prayer.

Hazrat Muslim bin Yasar says that I do not see any harm in performing ghusl for janabah in a clean place and then going to the place of prayer.

Ibrahim says that if one performs ghusl of janabah in a place where water accumulates, then after finishing it is necessary to wash the feet, and if the place is clean, then there is no harm in not washing them.

A man asked Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib whether ablution (wudu) is necessary after performing the ritual bath (ghusl) for major impurity (janabah). He replied, "No, but wash your feet."

Muhammad says that when you come out of the bathhouse, wash your feet.

Hazrat Ibn Aun says that I asked Hasan or Hazrat Mujahid, "How do you wash your feet while performing ghusl janabat?" He replied, "Like this." Then Hazrat Aun demonstrated by pouring water over the outer part of his feet.

Ibrahim Taimi says regarding the one performing ghusl after janabah that when he finishes and comes out of the bathhouse, he should wash both his feet.

Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair was asked about this matter, so he said that if there is any impurity in the bathhouse, then wash your feet, and if there is not, then there is no need.

Hazrat Mujahid says that when you perform ablution in such a bathhouse where urination takes place, then after coming out, wash your feet.

Hazrat Abu Ja'far says that I asked Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) about the method of performing ghusl after janabah, so he said: Pour water over yourself and after coming out, wash your feet.

Hazrat Abu al-Jawza says that if the bathroom is clean, then there is no need to wash the feet, and if it is not clean, then the feet should be washed.
