Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Maymunah, Mother of the Believers, narrates that she and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl from the same vessel.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl (ritual bath) from a large vessel, and (at times) I and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform ghusl from the same vessel.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl (ritual bath) from the same vessel while in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity).

Hazrat Umm Sabiyah Juhaniyyah narrates that while performing ablution from a single vessel, sometimes my hand would touch the hand of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Hazrat Umm Salamah, Mother of the Believers, says that I and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl from the same vessel.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the Mother of the Believers, narrates that she and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl (ritual bath) from the same vessel, and they would both put their hands into that vessel together.

Hazrat Umm Saad, the wife of Hazrat Zaid bin Thabit, says that she and Hazrat Zaid used to perform ghusl of janabah from the same vessel.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that if two persons in a state of major ritual impurity (husband and wife) put their hands into a single vessel to perform ghusl, there is no harm in it.

Hazrat Umm Hajjaj Jadliyah says that sometimes while performing ablution, I would bump into (my husband) Hazrat Ibn Mas'ud.

Hazrat Abu Huraira was asked about performing ablution with water left over by a woman, so he replied, "We used to sit around a large vessel and take water from it, and we would perform ghusl from it as well."

Hazrat Ikrimah says that a woman can perform ghusl (ritual bath) with the leftover water of her husband, and both can take water together as well.

Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) used to perform ghusl with his family members from the same vessel.

Hazrat Abu Ammar says that when a man and a woman want to perform ghusl from the same vessel, the man should begin first.

Hazrat Sha'bi says that a man and his wife can perform ghusl from one vessel.

Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his wives used to perform ghusl (ritual bath) from the same vessel.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl from a single vessel, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would begin first.
