Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sulaiman bin Musa narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution should rinse his mouth and put water into his nose, and both ears are part of the head."

Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib and Hasan Basri say that both ears are part of the head.

Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz says that both ears are part of the head.

Hazrat Abu Musa says that both ears are part of the head.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says that both ears are part of the head.

Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib and Hasan Basri say that both ears are part of the head.

Hazrat Abu Ja'far says that both ears are part of the head.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) said that both ears are part of the head.

Hazrat Nafi' narrates that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) would wipe over both ears and used to say that the ears are part of the head.

Hazrat Sha'bi says that the front part of the ears is related to the face and the back part is related to the head.

Hazrat Ibn Aun narrates that Hazrat Ibn Sirin used to wash the ears along with the face and would wipe them along with the head.

Hazrat Ibn Sirin says that the ears are a part of the head.

Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the ears are a part of the head.

Hazrat Usman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Know that the ears are a part of the head."

Hazrat Husain says that I asked Ibrahim whether the wiping of the ears should be done with the face or with the head? He replied: With both.
