Hadith 9999
٩٩٩٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عباد عن سعيد عن الحسن أنه سئل عن صوم النيروز، فكرهه وقال: (يعظمونه) (١) (٢).
Hasan was asked about fasting on the day of Nowruz, so he declared it disliked and said: "Do you venerate it?" (Nowruz used to be the festival of the first day of the year according to the Persians. Also, according to the Gregorian calendar, they celebrated it as a day of joy on the 21st of March.)
