Hadith 9974
٩٩٧٤ - حدثنا وكيع عن مهدي بن ميمون عن غيلان بن جرير عن عبد اللَّه بن معبد الزماني عن أبي قتادة أن النبي ﷺ سئل عن صيام عرفة فقال: "احتسب على اللَّه (أن) (١) (يكفر) (٢) سنتين سنة ماضية وسنة مستقبلة" (٣).
Hazrat Abu Qatadah narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the fast of the Day of Arafah. He replied that consider the fast of the Day of Arafah as an expiation for the sins of two years: one for the past year's sins and one for the coming year's sins.
