Hadith 9973
٩٩٧٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن ابن أبي ليلى عن عطاء عن أبي الخليل عن أبي قتادة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "صوم عرفة كفارة سنتين سنة ماضية وسنة مستقبلة" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Qatadah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Fasting on the Day of Arafah is an expiation for the sins of two years, one for the past year and one for the coming year.
