Hadith 9957
٩٩٥٧ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: (حدثنا) (١) سفيان بن (حسين) (٢) عن ⦗١٠٥⦘ الزهري عن عروة عن عائشة قالت: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ إذا كان معتكفًا لم يدخل البيت إلا لحاجة قالت: فغسلت رأسه وإن بيني وبينه لعتبة الباب (٣).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would observe i'tikaf, he would only enter the house due to some necessity. I used to wash his blessed head, and there would be the door frame between me and him.
