Hadith 9911
٩٩١١ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير عن عبد الملك عن عطاء قال: كان ابن عمر إذا أراد أن يعتكف ضرب خباء أو فسطاطًا فقضى فيه حاجته ولا يأتي أهله ولا يدخل سقفًا (١).
Hazrat Ata states that when Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) intended to perform i'tikaf, he would set up a tent for himself and fulfill his needs therein. Then he would neither go to his family nor go under a roof.
