Hadith 9888
٩٨٨٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: (نا) (١) أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحاق عن عاصم ⦗٩١⦘ ابن ضمرة عن علي قال: إذا اعتكف الرجل فليشهد الجمعة وليعد المريض و (ليحضر) (٢) الجنازة وليأتِ أهله وليأمرهم بالحاجة وهو قائم (٣).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that when a person sits for I'tikaf, he should attend the Friday prayer, visit the sick, participate in funerals, come to his family while standing, and fulfill his necessities.
