ما قالوا في الشهر كم هو يوماHow many days are there in a month?
Hadith 9862
٩٨٦٢ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا حميد (عن) (١) أنس أن النبي ﷺ آلى من نسائه شهرًا، فقعد في مشربة له، ثم نزل في تسع وعشرين، فقالوا: يا رسول اللَّه (٢) إنك آليت شهرًا؟ فقال: "إن الشهر تسع وعشرون" (٣).
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took an oath of abstention from his wives for a month and went to his upper chamber. Then he came down after twenty-nine days. The people said, "O Messenger of Allah! You had taken an oath for a month?" He replied, "A month can also be of twenty-nine days."
