Hadith 9861
٩٨٦١ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن (عبيد اللَّه) (١) بن عمر عن نافع عن ابن عمر أن ⦗٨٥⦘ النبي ﷺ قال: "الشهر هكذا وهكذا (وهكذا) (٢) "، ثم (نقص) (٣) إبهامه (يعني) (٤) تسعًا وعشرين (٥).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) said that a month is like this, like this, and like this. The third time, he did not count his thumb. That is, he counted up to twenty-nine.
