Hadith 9856
٩٨٥٦ - حدثنا محمد بن بشر عن (ابن) (١) (أبي) (٢) خالد قال: حدثني محمد بن ⦗٨٣⦘ سعد (عن سعد) (٣) بن أبي وقاص قال: ضرب النبي ﷺ بيده على الأخرى (ثم) (٤) قال: "الشهر هكذا، وهكذا"، ثم (نقص) (٥) في الثالثة أصبعًا (٦).
Hazrat Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas narrates that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) struck one of his hands on the other and said, “A month is like this, a month is like this.” Then, the third time, he kept one finger less.
