Hadith 9806
٩٨٠٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن مهدي بن ميمون عن غيلان بن جرير عن عبد اللَّه بن (معبد) (١) الزماني عن أبي قتادة قال: قال رجل: يا رسول اللَّه أرأيت رجلًا يصوم الدهر كله؟ قال: "لا صام ولا أفطر (أو ما صام ولا أفطر) (٢) " (٣).
Hazrat Abu Qatadah narrates that once a person asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about a man who observes fasting all year round; what is its ruling? The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied that he is neither among those who fast nor among those who do not fast.
