ما قالوا في الصائم يتوضأ فيدخل الماء حلقهRuling if water reaches the throat of a fasting person during wudu
Hadith 9738
٩٧٣٨ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة (عن عبد الخالق) (١) عن حماد (في) (٢) الصائم (تمضمض) (٣) فدخل الماء (٤) حلقه، (قال) (٥): إن كان وضوء واجب فليس عليه شيء، وإن كان مضمص (من) (٦) غيره فإنه يعيد.
Hazrat Hammad says that if, while rinsing the mouth, water enters the throat of a fasting person, then if ablution was obligatory, nothing is required of him. If he was rinsing the mouth for any other reason, he must repeat the fast.
