Hadith 9727
٩٧٢٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عبد الكريم عن عمر بن عبد العزيز أن قومًا شهدوا على هلال رمضان بعد ما أصبح الناس فقال: من لم يأكل فليتم صومه ومن أكل (فليصم) (١) بقية (يومه) (٢).
Hazrat Abdul Kareem narrates that during the time of Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz, people testified to having seen the moon during the day, saying that they had seen the moon the previous night. Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz said that whoever has not eaten should complete the fast, and whoever has eaten should refrain from eating and drinking for the rest of the day.
