في الهلال يرى نهارا: أيفطر أم لا؟If the Moon is Sighted During the Day, Should the Fast Be Broken?
Hadith 9710
٩٧١٠ - حدثنا محمد بن (بكر) (١) عن ابن جريج قال: كان عطاء يقول: إذا رئي هلال شوال نهارًا فلا تفطروا، ويتلو: ﴿ثُمَّ أَتِمُّوا الصِّيَامَ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ﴾.
Hazrat Ata used to say that if the crescent of Shawwal is sighted during the day, do not break the fast (i.e., do not eat or drink). Then he would recite this verse { ثُمَّ أَتِمُّوا الصِّیَامَ إلَی اللَّیْلِ } then complete the fast till night.
