٩٧٠٧ - حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد (القطان) (١) (عن سفيان) (٢) عن الركين عن أبيه قال: كنا مع (سلمان) (٣) بن ربيعة (ببلنجر) (٤) فرأينا هلال شوال يوم تسع وعشرين ضحى فقال: أرنيه، فأريته، فأمر الناس فأفطروا (٥).
Hazrat Rakeen's father narrates that we were at the place of Balanjar with Hazrat Salman bin Rabee'ah. On the twenty-ninth of Ramadan, at the time of forenoon, we saw the crescent of Shawwal. Hazrat Salman said, "Show it to me as well." I showed him the crescent, so he ordered the people to break their fast.
