Hadith 9706
٩٧٠٦ - حدثنا أسباط بن محمد عن (مطرف) (١) عن أبي الحسن عن الحارث عن علي قال: إذا رأيتم الهلال أول النهار فلا تفطروا وإذا رأيتموه من آخر النهار فأفطروا (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that if you see the moon in the early part of the day, do not break the fast, and if you see it in the latter part of the day, then break the fast.
