ما قالوا في صوم (يوم) عاشوراءFasting on the Day of Ashura
Hadith 9605
٩٦٠٥ - حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن الهجري عن أبي عياض عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: " (صوموا) (١) (يوم) (٢) عاشوراء يوم كانت تصومه الأنبياء فصوموه أنتم" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: On the day of Ashura, the noble prophets used to fast, so you should also fast.
