Hadith 9603
٩٦٠٣ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن أبي العميس عن قيس بن مسلم عن طارق بن شهاب عن أبي موسى قال: يوم عاشوراء يوم تعظمه اليهود تتخذه عيدا فقال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "صوموه (أنتم) (١) " (٢).
Hazrat Abu Musa narrates that the Jews used to honor the Day of Ashura; they had declared it a day of festival. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You should fast on this day.
