Hadith 9498
٩٤٩٨ - حدثنا شريك عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن زباد (الحارثي) (١) عن أبي هريرة قال: قال له رجل: أنت الذي تنهى عن صوم يوم الجمعة قال: لا ورب هذه ⦗٥٥١⦘ (الحرمة) (٢) أو (رب) (٣) هذه (البنية) (٤) ما أنا نهيت عنه، محمد ﷺ (قاله) (٥) (٦).
Hazrat Ziyad Harithi narrates that once a man said to Hazrat Abu Hurairah, "Are you the one who forbids fasting on the day of Friday?" Hazrat Abu Hurairah replied, "By the Lord of this sanctity, or by the Lord of this building, that is, the Ka'bah! I have not forbidden it, rather Muhammad (peace be upon him) has forbidden it."
