Hadith 9355
٩٣٥٥ - حدثنا الثقفي ويزيد عن حميد عن أنس أن أبا طلحة كان يأتي أهله فيقول: هل عندكم من غداء؟ فإن قالوا: لا، قال: فإني صائم، زاد الثقفي: (و) (١) إن كان عندهم أفطر (٢).
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Abu Talha used to ask his family members, "Do you have anything to eat?" They would reply, "No." So he would observe a fast. There is an addition in the narration of Thaqafi that if they had something, he would not fast.
