Hadith 932
٩٣٢ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن داود عن العباس بن عبد الرحمن (عن) (١) جبير ⦗١٨٥⦘ ابن نفير الحضرمي: أنه أرسل إلى عائشة، (فسألها) (٢) عن المرفقة يجامع عليها الرجل، أيقرأ عليها المصحف؟ قالت: وما يمنعك من ذلك؟ إن رأيته؟ فاغسله، وإن شئت فاحككه، وإن رابك فرشه (٣).
Hazrat Jubair bin Nafeer sent someone to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to ask whether a person can recite the Holy Qur'an on a cloth on which he has had intercourse with his wife. She replied: What is the hindrance in that? If there is something (impurity), then wash it, and if you wish, scrape it off, and if you are in doubt, sprinkle water on it.
