Hadith 9308
٩٣٠٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن عمارة بن زاذان عن مكحول قال: رأيت ابن عمر أخذ دلوا من زمزم فقال (لرجلين) (١): أطلع الفجر فقال أحدهما: لا، وقال الآخر: نعم. قال: فشرب (٢).
Hazrat Mak'hool narrates that I saw Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) draw a bucket of water from the well of Zamzam. He asked two men, "Has Fajr dawned?" One of them said, "No," and the other said, "Yes." Upon this, Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) drank the water.
