Hadith 9271
٩٢٧١ - حدثنا [أبو أسامة (قال) (١)] (٢): حدثنا عبيد اللَّه بن عمر عن نافع عن ابن عمر أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ ذكر رمضان فقال: "صوموا لرؤيته ⦗٥٠١⦘ وأفطرو (الر) (٣) ؤيته فإن (غم) (٤) عليكم فاقدروا له" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fast upon sighting the moon and celebrate Eid upon sighting the moon; if the moon is not visible, then complete the prescribed number (of days).
