Hadith 9239
٩٢٣٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو خالد عن داود عن الشعبي والحسن وسعيد بن المسيب (قالوا) (١): كان أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﷺ (مسافرين) (٢) فيصوم الصائم ويفطر المفطر فلا يعيب الصائم على المفطر (ولا) (٣) المفطر على الصائم (٤).
Hazrat Sha'bi, Hasan, and Hazrat Sa'id bin Musayyib state that when the Companions (Sahabah) were on a journey, some of them would fast and some would not, but the one who was fasting would not say anything to the one who was not fasting, and the one who was not fasting would not say anything to the one who was fasting.
