Hadith 916
٩١٦ - حدثنا ابن أبي (غنية) (١) عن أبيه عن الحكم في الجنابة في الثوب قال: إن رأيته، فاغسله، وإن لم تره، فدعه ولا تنضحه بالماء؛ فإن النضح لا يزيده إلا قذرا.
Hazrat Hakam was asked about impurity (janabah) on clothes, so he said: If you see its trace, then wash it, and if you do not see it, then leave it and do not sprinkle water on it, because that will only increase the impurity.
