Hadith 8996
٨٩٩٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا وكيع قال: ثنا هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن عائشة قالت: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يصلي بالليل صلاته وأنا معترضة بينه وبين القبلة، فإذا أراد أن يوتر (أوقظني) (١) فأوترت (٢).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer prayer at night while I would be lying between him and the Qiblah. When he intended to perform Witr, he would wake me up and I would offer Witr.
