Hadith 8956
٨٩٥٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن الأسود بن قيس عن (نبيح) (١) عن جابر قال: أتيت النبي ﷺ استعينه في دين كان على أبي قال: انصرف (٢) أنا آتيكم فأتانا وقد قلت للمرأة لا (تكلمن) (٣) رسول اللَّه ولا تؤذينه فلما خرج قالت المرأة: يا رسول اللَّه صل عليّ وعلى زوجي فقال: "صلى اللَّه عليك وعلى زوجك"، قالت: (يا) (٤) رسول اللَّه: تأتينا ولا (تدعو) (٥) لنا (٦).
Hazrat Jabir narrates that once I went to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to seek help regarding a debt of my father. The Prophet said, "You go, I will come to your house myself." When I reached home, I told my wife not to say anything to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and not to trouble him. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, she said, "O Messenger of Allah! Please pray for mercy for me and my husband." The Prophet said, "May Allah send mercy upon you and your husband." The woman said, "O Messenger of Allah! You came to us, why did you not call us to you?"
