Hadith 8715
٨٧١٥ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن يحيى بن سعيد عن شرحبيل عن جابر قال: أقبلنا مع رسول اللَّه ﷺ من الحديبية حتى إذا كنا بالصهباء قال: معاذ من يسقينا في أسقيتنا قال فخرجت في فتيان معي حتى (أتينا) (١) (الأثاية) (٢) (فأسقينا) (٣) واستقينا فلما كان بعد عتمة من الليل فإذا رجل (ينازعه) (٤) بعيره الماء قال: فإذا رسول اللَّه ﷺ فأخذت راحلته فأنختها فتقدم فصلى العشاء وأنا عن يمينه ثم صلى ثلاث عشرة ركعة (٥).
Hazrat Jabir narrates that we were returning from Hudaybiyyah with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When we reached the place of Sahba, Hazrat Mu’adh said, “Who will give us water to drink?” At this, I went out with some young men and we drank water from Asayah and also filled our vessels. When night fell, a man was struggling with his camel at the water. When I looked, it was the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). I held your mount and made it sit down. You moved forward and led the ‘Isha prayer; I was on your right side. Then you performed thirteen rak‘ahs.
