Hadith 8594
٨٥٩٤ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا شعبة عن معاوية بن قرة قال: سمعت عبد اللَّه بن مغفل يقول: قرأ النبي ﷺ في مسير له في عام الفتح سورة الفتح على راحلته فرجع في قراءته قال معاوية: ولولا أني أخاف أن يجتمع علي الناس لحكيت لكم قراءته (١).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) kept reciting Surah Al-Fath repeatedly on his mount during the year of the conquest of Makkah. Hazrat Muawiyah bin Qurrah says that if I did not fear people gathering, I would have shown you the manner of recitation.
