Hadith 8168
٨١٦٨ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا مغيرة بن زياد الموصلي قال: رأيت عطاء يصلي في السقيفة في المسجد الحرام في (النفر) (١) وهم (متفرقون) (٢) عن الصفوف فقلت له: أو قيل له فقال: إني شيخ كبير، ومكة (دوية) (٣) قد كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ ⦗٢٢٠⦘ في سفر فأصابه مطر فصلى بالناس وهم في رحالهم، وبلال يسمع الناس (التكبير) (٤) (٥).
Hazrat Mughira bin Ziyad Mosuli says that I saw Hazrat Ata standing under a canopy in Masjid al-Haram leading the prayer, and people were standing here and there. He said to the people, "I am an old man and Makkah is a dry and hot place. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was on a journey when it rained, and he led the people in prayer while they were mounted on their rides, and Hazrat Bilal was conveying the Takbeer to them."
