Hadith 7941
٧٩٤١ - حدثنا عفان قال: ثنا همام قال: ثنا يحيى بن أبي كثير أن رجلًا من أهل ⦗١٦٦⦘ الشام حدثه يقال له أبو سفيان أن بحير بن (ريسان) (١) حدثه أنه كان عند عبادة بن الصامت شهد ذلك، زجرهم أن يصلوا إذا تروح الإمام في رمضان، فجعل يزجرهم و (هم) (٢) لا يبالون ولا ينتهون فضربهم، فرأيته يضربهم على ذلك (٣).
Hazrat Baheer bin Risan narrates that he saw Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit, who, when he saw people praying during the Imam's Tarweeha, scolded them. They paid no attention to his scolding and did not refrain from this act. Then Hazrat Ubadah beat those people. And I myself saw him beating people for this act.
