Hadith 7847
٧٨٤٧ - حدثنا شريك عن عاصم عن زر قال: كنا نعرض المصاحف على عبد اللَّه، فسأله رجل من ثقيف فقال: يا أبا عبد الرحمن أي الأعمال أفضل؟ قال: الصلاة، ومن لم يصل فلا دين له (١).
Hazrat Zar narrates that the Holy Qur'an used to be presented before Hazrat Abdullah. A man from Thaqif asked him, "O Abu Abdur Rahman! Which deed is the most virtuous?" He replied, "Prayer; whoever does not pray has no religion."
