Hadith 7820
٧٨٢٠ - حدثنا أبو خالد وعبدة بن سليمان عن يحيى بن سعيد عن عمرة عن عائشة، قالت: لو أن النبي ﷺ أدرك ما (أحدثن) (١) النساء (٢) لمنعهن المساجد كما ⦗١٣٧⦘ (منعنه) (٣) نساء بني إسرائيل، قالت: قلت: ومنعنه؟ قالت: نعم (٤).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had seen the things that have appeared among women today, he would have forbidden them from going to the mosque, just as the women of Bani Israel were forbidden. Someone asked, "Were they forbidden?" Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) replied, "Yes."
