Hadith 7642
٧٦٤٢ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن المجالد عن الشعبي أن النبي ﷺ رأى في قبلة المسجد نخامة، فقام إليها فحكها بيده ثم دعا بخلوق، فقال عامر: هو سنة (١).
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw spit on the qibla side of the mosque, so he scraped it off with his hand and had perfume mixed with saffron brought and applied it. Hazrat 'Amir says that applying perfume made with saffron in mosques is a Sunnah.
