Hadith 684
٦٨٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة قال: حدثنا ابن علية عن برد بن سنان عن عبادة بن نسي (١) عن غضيف بن الحارث قال: أتيت عائشة، (فقلت) (٢): أرأيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ في أول الليل كان يغتسل من الجنابة، أم في آخره؟ فقالت: ربما اغتسل في أول الليل، وربما اغتسل في آخره (٣).
Hazrat Ghudayf bin Harith says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) whether the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform ghusl of janabah in the early part of the night or in the latter part of the night? She replied that sometimes in the early part and sometimes in the latter part.
