Hadith 6467
٦٤٦٧ - حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: حدثنا سعيد عن قتادة عن أنس عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال: "ما بال أقوام يرفعون أبصارهم إلى السماء في صلاتهم"، فاشتد (في) (١) ⦗٣٧٦⦘ ذلك حتى (كان يقول) (٢): "لينتهين (عن ذلك) (٣) أو لَتُخطفن أبصارهم" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "What is the matter with people that they raise their eyes towards the sky during prayer?" He strongly disapproved of this, to the extent that he said: "They should refrain from doing so, lest their eyesight be taken away."
