Hadith 6291
٦٢٩١ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا هشام عن أبيه، قال: جعل عمر بن الخطاب للناس قارئين في رمضان فكان أبي يصلي بالناس وابن أبي (حثمة) (١) يصلي بالنساء (٢) (٣).
Hazrat Urwah narrates that Hazrat Umar bin Khattab used to appoint reciters for the people in Ramadan. Hazrat Ubayy would lead the people in prayer, and Hazrat Ibn Abi Hathmah would lead the women.
