Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ayyub says that I wrote a letter to Hazrat Nafi' and asked him about a pregnant woman who sees blood. He replied that I asked Hazrat Sulaiman bin Yasar that if she sees blood other than during menstruation and postnatal bleeding, what should she do? He said that she should perform ghusl, stop the blood with a cloth, and perform prayer.
