أول العيدينThe First of the Two Eids
في العيدين يجتمعان يجزئ أحدهما (من) (الآخر)If Jumu'ah and Eid fall on the same day, what is the ruling?
Hadith 5968
٥٩٦٨ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن هشام بن عروة عن وهب بن كيسان قال: اجتمع (١) عيدان في يوم فخرج عبد اللَّه بن الزبير فصلى العيد بعد ما ارتفع النهار ثم دخل فلم يخرج حتى صلى العصر، قال هشام: فذكرت ذلك لنافع أو ذكر له فقال: ذكر ذلك لابن عمر فلم ينكره (٢).
Hazrat Wahb bin Kaysan narrates that during the time of Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair, Friday and Eid coincided on the same day. Hazrat Ibn Zubair led the Eid prayer after the day had become well bright. Then he returned and came again at the time of Asr. Hazrat Hisham says that I mentioned this matter to Hazrat Nafi’, so he said that this matter was mentioned to Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), and he did not object to it.
