أول العيدينThe First of the Two Eids
في العيدين يجتمعان يجزئ أحدهما (من) (الآخر)If Jumu'ah and Eid fall on the same day, what is the ruling?
Hadith 5967
٥٩٦٧ - حدثنا جرير بن عبد الحميد عن إبراهيم بن محمد بن المنتشر عن أبيه عن حبيب بن سالم عن النعمان بن بشير أن النبي ﷺ كان يقرأ في العيدين بـ ﴿سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى﴾، و ﴿هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ﴾، وإذا (اجتمع) (١) العيدان في يوم قرأ بهما فيهما (٢).
Hazrat Nu'man bin Bashir narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah Al-A'la and Surah Al-Ghashiyah in the Eid prayers. And when Eid and Friday coincided on the same day, he would recite these same Surahs in both prayers.
