Hadith 5664
٥٦٦٤ - حدثنا (عبيد اللَّه) (١) قال (أنبأنا) (٢) إسرائيل عن أبي إسحاق عن ابن أبي ليلى قال: أدركت أصحاب محمد ﷺ من أصحاب بدر وأصحاب (الشجرة) (٣) إذا ⦗١٩١⦘ كان يوم الجمعة لبسوا أحسن ثيابهم وإن كان عندهم طيب مسوا منه ثم راحوا إلى الجمعة (٤).
Hazrat Ibn Abi Laila narrates that I had the company of the companions of Badr and the companions of Shajrah among the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Those individuals used to wear their best clothes on Friday, apply fragrance, and then go for Jumu'ah.
