Hadith 5654
٥٦٥٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا هشيم (١) قال أنا يزيد بن (أبي) (٢) زياد عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى عن البراء بن عازب قال قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إن من الحق على المسلمين أن يغتسل أحدهم يوم الجمعة وأن يمس (طيبا) (٣) إن كان عنده فإن لم يكن (له) (٤) طيب فإن الماء له طيب" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara bin Azib that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is obligatory upon Muslims to perform ghusl (ritual bath) on the day of Friday. If they have perfume, they should apply it, and if they do not have perfume, then water is their perfume.
